The Feeling - Rosé

The Feeling is one of those bands that seem to fly just below my music radar. Of course I’d heard of them, they were hyped quite frequently by Radio 1, but I never seemed to link the band to any songs. I’d hear songs like “Sewn” and “Fill My Little World” and love them, but it’s only recently that I realised they were done by the same group.

So I bought their album Twelve Stops and Home and like most of the songs. My favourite, by far, is Rosé.

Crazy - Gnarls Barkley

This is the lastest offering being pimped by Radio 1 and features on the television advert for Zane Lowe’s show. I’m quite glad that Radio 1 is still playing stuff that I love the first time I hear it because I’m way outside of their target audience age (15-24).

The JCB Song - Nizlopi

Radio 1 seem to be pushing this song quite a lot, so I suppose it’ll either be Christmas or New Year Number 1.

It’s a really cute song about how great Dads are.

Band Aid Dil-Emma

When I first heard the new Band Aid 20 single I thought it was absolutely terrible. I’m assuming mainly because I like the first one, which has been around every Christmas for the last 20 years of my life.

The other reason is ‘the rap’. Sung, if you can call it that, by Dizzee Rascal. It’s not that I don’t like the fact that there is a rap on the single, it’s because I despise his voice! NB: I do like the fact that he wrote those 2 lines.
