The Musical Baton Drops

After seeing this chain post spreading around the blog community, I feel quite privileged to have it passed my way by paul.

Total volume of music files on my computer:

I haven’t actually had a working computer of my own for about 9 months now due to an over heating graphics card and the fact that it doesn’t have a monitor. The computers that I do use are at work and my parents’ PC at home.

Work PC - 190mb
Parents’ PC - 111mb (Woa girl, slow down on the downloads!)

As you can see, I am not really into downloads at the moment, I hope to change that when I get my shiney new laptop. I am not usually on the computer at home long enough to bother with music and at work I just listen from my CDs.

The last CD I bought was:

Silent Alarm - Bloc Party. I am not 100% taken with this group yet, but I do love ‘Banquet’ which was my reason for trying them out.

Song playing right now:

Take Me Out - Scissor Sisters (Radio 1 Live Lounge Recording). This is such a brilliant cover of this song, but disappointing after hearing them play it live at a gig last year.

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:

Andy You’re A Star - The Killers
Modern World - The Kaiser Chiefs
Hymn Of The Big Wheel - Massive Attack
Beautiful - Christina Aguilera
Here Comes Your Man - The Pixies

Argh, I need to list more than 5.

Five people I’m passing the baton to:

Unfortunately/fortunately, I have no other friends who blog so sadly the baton slips from my grasp with no others to carry it on to the finish.

My non-blogging friends are of course welcome to carry it on below.
